LIGHT AND FLUFFY JELLO DESSERT

1 pack (3 oz) strawberry jello
23 cup boiling water
2 cups ice cubes
8 oz of cool whip (refrigerated) - 3 1/2 cups
1 cup chopped strawberries
DIRECTIONS:
Dissolve jello package in preboiled water
Stir 3 minutes
Add ice cubes and stir 2-3 minutes until jello is thickened
Remove unmelted cubes
Blend in cool whip, whipping until smooth
Fold in chopped fruit
May add nuts
Chill for 2 hours
